Hearing constant unwanted noise during a meeting can be irritating. Use the "mute" feature to eliminate distractions. As the host, you have the option to mute yourself when others are speaking or mute participants to maintain focus.

📝 Include an agenda when sending out the meeting invitation.

Many meeting participants are unsure of the agenda without guidance from the host. Including a meeting agenda in Webex invites increases productivity by providing clarity on discussion topics.

😜 Record the meetings.

The app enables users to record meetings in MP4 format for sharing with absentees or creating a record. Always seek permission from other participants before recording.

👻 Take advantage of the Virtual Backgrounds feature to conceal your surroundings.

Do you want to hide your background during video calls? Webex has you covered! With features like "Virtual Backgrounds" and "Background Blur," you can easily customize your background. Simply click on the "Change Background" button in the desktop app to select a virtual background before or during a meeting.

👍 Make gestures to express yourself.

During Webex Meetings, you can use gestures to convey ideas in addition to facial expressions. You can give a thumbs-up which Webex Meetings will recognize and respond with an emoji. This enhances your emotions towards other participants, for example, when you give a thumbs-up, they receive two!
